Read Write Inc.

 

At Shiremoor Primary School we use the Read Write Inc. (RWI) programme to get children off to a strong start with their reading.  Using synthetic phonics, children quickly learn to blend letter sounds together following a fun and effective programme.  Phonics provides children with the building blocks needed to become successful readers.
