From the academic year 2021-2022, we adopted the DfE Pupil Premium Strategy template. This is 3 year strategy and will cover academic years 2021-2022, 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. In addition to this change, we also receive additional funding called the 'Recovery Funding' to help support our disadvantaged children with lost learning opportunities owing to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic disruption to academic access and learning.
We use the barriers and challenges which we have identified to ensure we put the correct measures in place each academic year to support our disadvantaged pupils.
Each academic year, the PP Lead and staff review the outcomes of these children based on the effectiveness of the activity of the premium in that year.
At the end of the 3 years, a full review will take place whereby the challenges and key areas addressed as the main barriers for these children, will be comprehensively evaluated to ensure we are always ensuring we are addressing the correct areas to meet the needs of our children.
