myON Wider Reading

Each half-term, children in KS2 will have a target to meet linked to the amount of reading that they are completing outside of school. This can be achieved either by reading and quizzing on their Reading for Pleasure (Accelerated Reader) book or online texts on myON. 

Below are some suggested texts for children to read on myON which will link to learning in their science, history and geography topics. Not only will reading these texts deepen their understanding of the topics that they are learning about in school, they will also help them to achieve their reading targets over the course of the year.
