Admissions

Shiremoor Primary School follows North Tyneside Council’s Admissions Policy, which is fully explained in their own brochure and is available from the school or local libraries.

Pre-School Admissions 2022 and beyond

At Shiremoor Primary School, we are fortunate to have a variety of provisions for children to attend prior to starting their academic journey in Reception. We have an excellent mainstream two year old provision in addition to our Nursery offer.

If you are concerned that your child may have additional needs requiring more support than that available in mainstream nursery provision, please ensure that you seek advice from your Health Visitor, or the school SENCO, as soon as you have this awareness so that you can receive advice about how to ensure your child accesses the correct support and provision.

If you would like to discuss options of enrolment for any of the three provisions named above, please don't hesitate to contact the school office.
